A swing-out door on the right side of the machine allows the operator to easily access daily engine service points. The clamshell style retracting roof enclosure provides excellent access to the engine house. All weldments are fabricated from high quality steel to resist impact. The upper assembly is built on a thick, one-piece turntable. The durable design and construction starts with the Tigercat-built forest duty undercarriage and large diameter swing bearing. Ever versatile, the 845E feller buncher also has the power and stability to handle larger timber. The ERĀ® boom system is highly productive in small stem accumulating applications, where multiple boom cycles are required for each swing cycle. The new skyVIEW and rearVIEW camera systems eliminate the need for a skylight. The MD4 electronic control system interface includes an easy to use colour touchscreen for machine monitoring and function adjustment. Redesigned hinge geometry allows the front door to be closed with less effort. The cab has been redesigned to optimize ergonomics and improve sound reduction. It incorporates the updated cab as well as other improvements to increase productivity and operator comfort. The 845E/L845E takes the popular 845 platform and adds all of the latest features found on the Tigercat track carrier models.
